Amaron Sleek Series - 12V 100Ah
The AGM VRLA battery, more commonly known as a sealed maintenance-free battery, is a type of lead–acid rechargeable battery that operates on the Gas Recombination principle. This process is effectively controlled by a pre-determined vent valve. The battery’s leak-proof design allows it to be mounted in any orientation, though vertical installation is recommended for easier access. It does not require constant maintenance, making it a reliable and convenient power solution.
The Amaron Sleek series features True Front Access Terminal Batteries, ensuring quick and safe installation and maintenance, particularly in rack-mounted applications.
Battery ConstructionThe positive plate is made from a hybrid alloy, while the negative plate uses a lead calcium alloy for enhanced performance and durability. The container and cover are constructed from flame retardant polypropylene co-polymer (FR-PPCP), ensuring safety and long-term use.
An Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) is used as the separator, which facilitates gas recombination and eliminates the need for free-flowing electrolyte. The safety valve is self-resealing, pressure regulated, and explosion-proof, enhancing operational safety. The terminals are M6 front terminals, and the electrolyte is dilute sulphuric acid, fully absorbed within the AGM separator.
